Day 44. Well how about that. Practically half way and I haven’t missed a day yet. Have spent the past few days being inspired by my daughter and her friend’s henna painting on their hands. If you’re curious, you can check it out on my Instagram.
Today, however, I decided to try and knock Klee a little bit out of my head and spend some time in Jonny Hannah’s Darktown. This was fun and it was interesting to experience all the ideas that popped up in my head while I was drawing this picture. There are lots of things I would do differently, I think. But as Darktown is Hannah’s playground, I feel a bit of a trespasser.
I grew up in a beach town, and I felt like there were lots of businesses and locations missing from Darktown. It was a struggle to not put them in there. Which suggests I need to develop a different town, and let Hannah have his own.
